Sullivan County Supervision Center Selected as 2nd Quarter Recipient

100 Women Who Care in Sullivan County met on May 17th at the Sullivan Elks for the 2nd quarter meeting, here is a meeting recap:

Member Katie Springer spoke on behalf of the Sullivan Supervision Center asking for grant money to help children adjust in divorce situations by reducing conflict and promoting relationships between parents.

Member Mary Ann Dudley spoke on behalf of the Carlisle Ambulance Service asking for grant money to buy another ambulance, they are currently at $65,000 of their $103,000 goal!

Member Michele Smith spoke on behalf of the Sullivan Church of the Nazarene for a Community Basketball Court that could provide something to occupy youths on the North side of town and provide a resource for the community as a whole.

 

Ultimately the membership voted to fund the Sullivan County Supervision Center!
