Our first quarter meeting was held last night, February 15th, at the Sullivan Elk’s Lodge. We want to again thank our sponsor Dr. Matt DuPre and our hostesses Ally Orwig and Kaylan DuPre for kicking off a great start to our 2017 year of giving back to Sullivan County.

 

 

We had a great turnout of 51 members and 21 members sent their pledge checks with a proxy to vote in their stead. We heard three great presentations from three organizations:

Member Michelle Smith spoke on behalf of the Salvation Army

Member Lori Bouslog spoke on behalf of the Sullivan County 4-H Council

Member Karla Monroe spoke on behalf of Our Fathers Arms

 

Ultimately the members voted to fund the Sullivan County 4-H Council to support their April 22nd event, “Wabash Valley Makers Fest”, a Science, Tecnhology, Engineering, Agriculture and Math Event featuring keynote speaker Astronaut David Wolf.
