Leon and Nancy Shake Huff were married in June of 1960, and just 13 years later Nancy passed away.  Having lost his wife at such an early stage in their marriage, Leon chose to honor her when he was considering decisions about his estate. Knowing how much Nancy’s sorority experience meant to her during and after her years at Indiana State University, Leon established the Leon D. & Nancy Shake Huff Sigma Kappa Scholarship Fund to benefit a Sigma Kappa member at ISU with financial need and outstanding involvement with the sorority. Thanks to Leon Huff’s decision to honor his wife and her love of education, he was able to create a lasting legacy that will benefit Sullivan County students forever.

Eligibility requires that:

• You must be a member or pledge of Gamma Gamma Chapter of Sigma Kappa sorority at Indiana State University
• You must have financial need
• You must demonstrate outstanding involvement within the sorority.
