Jenna Kay Perrelle Memorial Scholarship

Jenna Kay Perrelle was a very kind, loving, caring, generous, humble, friendly, special, one of a kind, young lady with a funny sense of humor.  She loved to joke around and make people laugh. She was everyone’s friend!  Jenna was an inspiration to every person who was fortunate enough to know her.

Jenna was a junior at Terre Haute South Vigo High School when she was killed in a tragic car accident on February 14, 2019.  She would have been a 2020 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School.  Jenna was an academic honors student and a member of the Terre Haute South Lady Braves softball team, where she lettered as a freshman and sophomore.  She was chosen to represent her Terre Haute South softball team at a leadership conference.  Jenna was also a member of the Indiana Gators travel softball team.  Jenna planned on continuing her academic and softball career in college, where she had already received an offer as a junior.  One of Jenna’s favorite classes was Peer Education.  She enjoyed making new friends. In addition to her accomplishments in the classroom and athletic world, Jenna was very popular amongst classmates and was selected as a Junior Fall Homecoming attendant.

Jenna touched so many lives.  Her compassionate, loving, generous, and fun personality was and continues to be, an inspiration to all who knew her.

The Jenna Kay Perrelle Memorial Fund was established at the Wabash Valley Community Foundation in support of a scholarship to benefit outstanding student athletes at Terre Haute South Vigo High School who embody the spirit, character, and heart with which Jenna lived her life.
