Chris Gilbert graduated from North Central High School in 1971. He passed away in 2009 after battling a rare autoimmune disease.  During his illness, he received outstanding nursing care at Terre Haute Regional Hospital inspiring his brother to create this scholarship to benefit those seeking a degree in a health care field.

Eligibility requires that:

• You are a graduating senior of North Central High School in Sullivan County, Indiana.
• You plan to seek a post-secondary or vocational degree in a health care field.
