Cameron Taylor Memorial Scholarship

Cameron Taylor was born July 16, 1994 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Mark W. Taylor and Tracie J. Millard Taylor. Cameron was born with Cerebral Palsy and suffered from a seizure disorder and ADD, but did not let those challenges stop him from participating in his many activities. He was a graduate of St. Patrick Elementary and Middle School. Cameron was a member of the Terre Haute North Vigo High School class of 2013. He loved being a Patriot and was a member of the soccer team, track team, German club, National Honor Society, and he was a Continental.

He had plans for attending Ball State or Bellermine University to pursue a career in actuarial science when he sadly passed away on September 24, 2012 of his senior year. Cameron was a true friend to all those he met, and he is remembered for his big infectious smile and kindness to everyone. His quiet courage and perseverance to live a full life was an example for us all, and he will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew him.

The purpose of the Cameron Taylor Memorial Scholarship Fund is to provide a four year scholarship to students who have or will have graduated from Terre Haute North Vigo High School that have a physical and/or mental learning disability and who intend on pursuing a post-secondary education.
