The Andy and Edythe Turner Memorial Scholarship Fund was first started as the Edythe Turner Memorial Scholarship. Andy Turner, along with his son, Jim Turner, started this scholarship in her name. Edythe was a beloved wife and mother. In 2000, Andy passed away and the scholarship name was changed to include him in memory.

The purpose of the Andy and Edythe Turner Memorial Scholarship Fund is to provide non-renewable post-secondary scholarships payable to any accredited institution of higher education for the benefit of a graduating senior of Marshall High School in Marshall, Illinois who is seeking a degree in a medical-related field.
