Alyssa Hogue was born August 5, 1994, in Terre Haute to Chris Hogue and Amy Jukes. Alyssa graduated from Terre Haute North in 2013 and was a sophomore at Indiana State University when she tragically passed away in 2014. Alyssa was a wonderful friend who made everyone she met feel special. She was kind, loving and extremely outgoing. Alyssa’s beautiful smile lit up any room and made everyone happy. Her easy laugh was contagious. Alyssa simply loved life and the family and friends in it.

Constantly on the go, Alyssa committed herself completely to every activity. She was fiercely loyal and was the first one there for any friend in need. She could always be depended on for a listening ear, a compassionate heart and a meaningful hug. She will be missed more than words can ever express by her large family and many friends. This scholarship fund was created by Alyssa’s parents to continue her legacy

Eligibility requires that:

• You are a graduate from Terre Haute North Vigo High School in Vigo County or Northview High School in Clay County.
• You have a GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Preference will be given for those who, during high school, were involved in DECA, played soccer or were employed.
