The Community Foundation’s grant process takes advantage of one of the greatest strengths of this three-county partnership – the use of local volunteer leadership to determine the organizations and agencies to be funded within each county.
Types of Grants
The Wabash Valley Community Foundation has determined broad priorities for awarding its grant funds. Each county has its own individual review process and deadlines.
Impact Grants
Grant requests ranging from $2,000 to $25,000
Urgent Grants
For an organization with a proven track record, a one-time grant of up to $2,500 in Clay and $5,000 in Vigo
Terre Haute Day Nursery
Funding tuition assistance and program development
Youth Grant Committees
In support of youth-driven, youth-serving projects
Scholarships
The Wabash Valley Community Foundation believes that higher education is the key to future success for individuals and our communities. The Community Foundation honors the area’s youth for their academic success and their community involvement through our scholarship awards. We assist dozens of students each year as they strive to attain their educational goals. Through our application process, students have access to a variety of scholarships.
